As your wedding photographer my aim is to capture your day as unobtrusively as possible. After receiving your booking we will arrange a meeting to dicsuss the finer details of capturing your day. I also spend some time visiting the venues to help ensure that I select the most suitable locations for your photographs.
Preparations
I will start the day at the brides house working behind the scenes to capture the preparations and build up to the wedding.
The Venue
At the venue I will capture some of the 'lead in' images, the Groom and his entourage, informal images of the guests as they start to arrive.
The Ceremony
When all the guests are inside the venue I will take this opportunity to capture images of the bride , father and bridesmaids.
During the ceremony I work quietly behind the scenes to capture the intimacy and emotion of the ceremony. After covering the signing of the register - and if the weather is on our side - we will move to an appropriate location to photograph any group shots required. I then work as unobtrusively as possible to capture the excitement and the celebrations as they unfold. At a point convenient for yourselves and all concerned I spend some one to one time with the Bride and Groom away from the main party. I will work as quickly as possible so as not to intrude on your day.
If the weather is not kind to us I will use locations within the venue using a variety of lighting including flash and natural light.
The Reception and Evening
During the reception I quietly work behind the scenes to capture the emotion, and fun, during the speeches. If required I can capture the newlyweds as they take the stage for their first dance. After this I usually say my goodbyes however, I can finish at a time that is convenient for yourselves....It's your day.
