A Wintry Penshaw Monument
Taken late afternoon New Years day. A blanket of snow rests at the foot of the iconic North East landmark, Penshaw Monument. A bitterly cold wind gives some movement to the grasses in the foreground, while the clouds in the distance indicate the threat of more snow.
